Sneak Peek Sunday 3/24

Hello and welcome to Sneak Peek Sunday!  This week, I'm bringing a naughty little snippet from my erotic romance A Flowerpot Christmas Tree.  I posted a teaser of this scene some time back, and this picks up where that left off...

In this scene, 27-year-old artist Noah is giving 40-something professor Lillian sculpting lessons:

There,” he whispered, “see how it responds to your touch.” His mouth grazed my ear when he said it, and my pulse kicked into overdrive. For a moment, I wasn’t sure if he was talking about the clay or the noticeable bulge pressing against my backside. “Mmm-hmm,” was all I could get out. I could tell that he was getting hard. I should have been offended, but honestly, I was turned on. And flattered. Then again, a 27-year-old dick is always ready to hop to attention, even after half a bottle of wine. When my sanity finally, reluctantly, took over, I realized that I was letting my new neighbor rub his cock against my ass and coughed loudly. He backed away instantly and dropped himself into an old lawn chair.

Cover Reveal: Wolf Protector by Milly Taiden

The lovely Milly Taiden has a new release about to drop!  I am so excited to be participating in the cover reveal for Wolf Protector!

Here's the blurb:

A woman with a secret…
The Federal Paranormal Unit is an elite squad of supernaturals dedicated to solving missing persons cases. Erica’s gift allows her a special connection with the crime, but it comes at a deep personal cost… Until now, she’s kept her gift a secret, even from the other members of the team. But this case will throw her together with Agent Trent Buchanan. He’s the object of her secret desires, but he’s also a cocky womanizer. She’d rather swim in shark-infested waters with a paper cut than admit she has feelings for him.

A man with one desire…
Wolf Shifter Trent wants Erica more than he’s ever wanted any woman. He’s spent years patiently waiting for her to admit that she wants him too. Working one-on-one in a race to find a serial killer, Trent’s patience and Erica’s resolve wear thin. When Trent discovers the truth about Erica, will he accept her for who she is? And can he protect her from the horrors that her gift brings?

A case that pushes them to the edge…
Erica will have to risk it all if she wants to stop the killer, and when she does, Trent may have to put his own life on the line to make sure his mate is protected…

Heartbreaker Hop!

Heartbreakers:

Sometimes the man who seems the most like a heartbreaker is the one who will never break your heart.
Sometimes the man you thought would never hurt you is the one who will cut you to the bone.  I sit here wondering what makes a heartbreaker.  How many hearts does a man have to break before he's considered a "heartbreaker"?  Because I'm pretty sure the answer is just one if it's yours...

Where do I stand on heartbreakers?  Love 'em or leave 'em?  Nah, that's too simple for me, too black and white.  Life is messy and complicated, and relationships are the most complicated part of all.  Don't ignore the past, but don't let it dictate the future.  How's that for vague?

The Giveaway:

It isn't exactly seasonal, but it is filled with hot heartbreakers and heartthrobs.  In honor of the Heartbreaker Hop, I'm giving away a copy of Halloween Heat VI, the sizzling Halloween anthology from Etopia Press.

While you're here, feel free to check out my contemporary erotic novella,

A Flowerpot Christmas Tree:

This Christmas, she'll get exactly what she needs...

40-something anthropology professor Lillian Chase knows how to be alone, even if the sights and sounds of the season make her a little lonely. When she's not teaching classes, Lillian helps law enforcement solve missing persons cases through facial reconstruction. But the anthropology department finds this kind of subjective application a little too soft, and Lillian's not sure she'll be approved for tenure. Worse, though, she worries that she won't be able to identify the skull of her most recent "Jane Doe" in time to give the missing woman's family closure for the holidays.

But when a twenty-seven-year-old artist and former student moves in downstairs, Lillian finds herself feeling more than just neighborly. Noah Ames is al kinds of off-limits: he's too young, he's a former student, and he lives right downstairs. Even with three strikes against him, his fiery appeal is undeniable. He pushes Lillian's boundaries--sexual and otherwise--in ways she's not sure she's comfortable with. But that just may be exactly what Lillian needs...

Final Six Sentence Sunday!

Welcome all to the final Six Sentence Sunday!  I've so enjoyed reading all of the wonderful excerpts, and I've loved getting to share and chat with everyone who has stopped by.

In honor of the occasion, I've decided to post a particularly steamy snippet from A Flowerpot Christmas Tree.  In this scene, widowed anthropology professor Lillian Chase is discovering that the hot, much-younger artist, Noah Ames, can be a bit of a tease.

“Ah, don’t stop! Fuck me!”

Noah did not obey. Without warning he pulled back, slowed himself, and took away those delightfully adept fingers. Making agonizingly slow circles with his hips, he watched till my chest stopped heaving and my breathing slowed. I think I actually pouted.

Six Sentence Sunday 1/20

Welcome and thank you so much for dropping by!  This week, I'm giving you six more sentences from my newly contracted novella, Valentine's Walk.  Be sure and check back for the release date and cover reveal.  :)

We're skipping ahead this week.  In the following scene, Sarah (the physical therapist) has just helped Ethan up and out of his wheelchair.  Ethan's having a hard time letting himself be helped, and the moment brings with it an intimacy that surprises them both:

"Everybody needs help sometimes.” Sarah looked him squarely in the eyes when she said it, so close she could feel his breath on her cheek. That strand of hair had fallen back down in front of her face. Ethan reached up and gently tucked it behind her ear. Her breath caught and her lips parted almost imperceptibly when his fingers grazed first her temple and then the delicate skin on her ear. The sensation sent a jolt of electricity surging through her body.
